Personal service
– from a quality local builder
At Alkira, we understand that building a home is a deeply personal experience. That’s why we carefully manage the number of projects we take on each year, ensuring that every client receives the attention, time, and care they deserve.
Design pathways
– choose your path
Alkira offers two distinct design pathways. Adjust & Tailor to refine our popular Elyse design and Ready to Build for expertly crafted homes that are ready to bring to life and looking for the right builder.
The Elyse
Our most built design because it just works.
Because Experience Counts
You’ve found your perfect spot in Sydney—maybe it’s that quiet street in the Inner West, or you’re walking distance to the beach, or the kids can actually walk to school. The location’s gold, but the house? That’s another story. Knock down rebuild lets you keep what matters (where you live) and fix what doesn’t (how you live).
Sydney Living, Done Right
Sydney’s changed. The way we lived in the 90s doesn’t work anymore. Those dark, boxy rooms and tiny windows waste our incredible climate. When you rebuild, you can create spaces that actually make sense—kitchens that open to decks, living areas that catch the northerly sun, bedrooms that get the morning light but stay cool in summer. It’s about working with Sydney, not against it.
Rebuilding isn’t just about today—it’s about creating something that works for decades. In a city where land is everything, maximizing your block with smart design and quality construction is just common sense. Whether it’s capturing harbor breezes, managing the western sun, or making room for the pool you’ve always wanted, a thoughtfully rebuilt home transforms a good block into a great property. And in Sydney’s market? That’s an investment that actually makes sense.
The Elyse Facade Designs
The Elyse Facade Designs
Swiss Facade
Those gorgeous chalet-style windows and timber beams just work in Sydney. If you’re planning a knock down rebuild, this brings mountain charm home.
Miami Modern Facade
All curves and glass – it’s giving major resort vibes. The kind of Sydney home that looks straight out of an architecture magazine, but actually liveable.
Urban Facade
Raw concrete meets warm timber in the best way. Perfect when you want that inner-city warehouse feel but need a proper backyard for the kids in Sydney.
Scandi Facade
Light woods, white walls, and windows everywhere. This knock down rebuild option brings that Pinterest-worthy calm to busy Sydney life. Simply beautiful.
Classic Facade
The home everyone pictures when they think “dream house” – proper columns, perfect proportions. Works on any Sydney street and never looks try-hard.
Coastal Facade
Breezy shutters and weathered finishes that actually make sense, even away from the beach. Brings that holiday feeling home to everyday Sydney living.
It is not merely a house, but a legacy.
The Elyse is a testament to thoughtful design, craftsmanship and the pursuit of timeless design. This home is one of the most awarded, practical and adaptable floorplan designs. The Elyse is perfectly suited to our “Adjust & Tailor” process.
Quality Build Focus
At Alkira Homes, we take on fewer projects than other major builders, because it’s important to us that we uphold the exceptional quality and meticulous attention to detail that defines our reputation. This personalised approach is what truly distinguishes us from other custom and project builders. It’s this difference that makes us a quality local builder.
Our Build Pathways
We offer two unique pathways for your home construction.
You may have a pre-approved plan and are looking for a quality local builder for the project, or love our hero floorplan and want to tailor the Elyse to your site.
Adjust & Tailor
Love our Elyse floorplan?
Our Adjust & Tailor process gives you the best of both worlds - with the proven design, combined with the flexibility to make it your own. Choose from a range of sizes and facades then customise to suit your lifestyle and taste.
Ready To Build
Already have approved plans?
Our Ready to Build process helps you take the next step with confidence. We will review your plans, provide feedback, compliance and guide you through what is needed to move forward.
